This policy explains what personal data Relaycast collects, why we need it, who else handles it and what you can do about it. The service is operated by Relaycast.
Relaycast is responsible for the personal data processed through https://relaycast.org. You can reach us through the support chat in the bottom-right corner of any page of the site.
Account data: your email address, and either a password hash (a salted scrypt hash, we never store the password itself) or your Google account ID. If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name, email address and Google account ID.
Payment records: amounts, dates, order numbers and status. Card payments go through FreeKassa and crypto payments through trybit. We never see full card numbers or wallet private keys.
Campaign data: Discord server identifiers (guild ID or invite link), campaign settings, message text, links, role filters, delivery statistics and logs.
Support and technical data: messages you send in the support chat, and your IP address as recorded in our server logs.
We use this data to create and secure your account, process payments and keep your balance, run and deliver your campaigns, show you campaign statistics, answer support requests, and detect abuse of the service.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
We process most data because we need it to provide the service you signed up for. Payment records are kept because accounting and tax laws require it.
Server logs and abuse checks are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and stopping spam. Where we need your consent for something, we will ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
FreeKassa processes bank card payments. trybit processes cryptocurrency payments. Google handles sign-in if you choose to log in with Google.
Telegram: messages from the support chat widget are relayed to our support team through a Telegram bot, and replies come back to the widget. This means the text of your support chat is processed by Telegram.
Our hosting provider stores the servers and databases that run Relaycast. Message delivery is done by a delivery service operated by us. Campaign messages are sent through Discord, which handles them under its own privacy policy.
We keep account and campaign data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete this data, except payment records, which we keep for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
Server logs are kept for a limited time needed for security and troubleshooting. Support chat messages are kept while needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for an export in a machine-readable format. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to some processing or to complain to your local data protection authority.
Send your request through the support chat on https://relaycast.org. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account. We reply within one month.
Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes. Sessions use an httpOnly cookie that scripts on the page cannot read. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to run the service.
No system is fully secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
Relaycast is not for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
We will update this page when our data practices change. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
